This website (fairwayescapes.co.uk) is operated by Fairway Escapes Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in Scotland (company number SC870126), registered office 144 Nethergate, Dundee, Scotland, DD1 4EB. We are the “data controller” for the personal information described in this policy.

2. What this policy covers

This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website — specifically our contact form and our tour operator enquiry form.

Bookings, payments and your stay are not handled on this website. They go through our booking partners (see “Booking partners and other third parties” below), who process that information under their own privacy policies. The website itself doesn’t take payments or store any booking or card details.

3. Information we collect

We only collect what you enter into our forms:

• Contact form — your name, email, phone number (if you give one), the type of enquiry, and anything in your message.
• Tour operator enquiry form — your name, company, email, country, group size, preferred dates and number of nights, and anything in your message.

We don’t use website analytics or tracking cookies, and we don’t collect payment or card details.

4. How and why we use it (and our legal basis)

• Respond to your enquiry — legitimate interests / steps before a contract.
• Manage a booking or stay you go on to make — performance of a contract / legitimate interests.

5. Cookies

This website uses only essential cookies needed for it to work (for example, to run the site and its booking widget). We don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so there’s no cookie banner. If you continue to our booking partner’s pages to make a booking, any cookies there are covered by their own policy.

6. Booking partners and other third parties

• Hostaway — our property-management platform, used to manage bookings, guest communication and the channels below.
• Booking channels — bookings may be made through channels connected via Hostaway (which may include Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo), or through our direct booking page. Each has its own privacy policy.
• Webflow — hosts this site and processes contact-form submissions on our behalf.

We only share what’s necessary, and we don’t sell your personal information.

7. International transfers

Some providers (e.g. Hostaway and the booking channels) may process data outside the UK. Where your data is transferred internationally, it’s protected by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement/Addendum or an adequacy decision.

8. How long we keep it

• Enquiries — kept while we deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted.
• Booking-related information — handled by our booking partners under their own policies.

9. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can: access your data; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to processing; request portability; and withdraw consent at any time. Email info@fairwayescapes.co.uk to exercise any of these.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) — though we’d appreciate the chance to help first.
